BEZIERS
Nestling at the foot of the hill beneath Saint-Nazaire Cathedral, this building was constructed at the end of the 19th century on the site of a former 17th-century coaching inn. Pope Pius VII passed through here in 1814 on his way back from captivity. Self-guided or guided tours will enable you to explore its history, enriched by an exhibition of photographs and slide shows retracing the life of the neighborhood. Two concerts will punctuate the weekend: a choir on Saturday and a mandolin ensemble on Sunday.
