Housed in Gustave Fayet?s former town house, the Musée Fayet pays tribute to the sculptor Jean-Antoine Injalbert, hosting three outstanding exhibitions this season.
“Gustave Fayet et le Japon” reveals the artist?s passion for Japanese art and the influence of the Far East on his painting and plastic research.
“Carte blanche à Maaya Wakasugi” gives the floor to a contemporary Japanese calligrapher, weaving links between Eastern and Western art forms.
“Hallucinations florales” offers a poetic journey around Fayet’s floral motifs, presented on the grids of the Plateau des Poètes.
On the program:
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: free tours of the exhibitions
Saturday at 12:30 pm: Inauguration of the exhibition “Carte Blanche à Maaya Wakasugi”
Saturday and Sunday at 11am and 3pm: calligraphy workshops led by Maaya Wakasugi – registration required.
