CARCASSONNE
It is always a moving experience to welcome the Trio Héritage back to the Jeudis de l’Auditorium concert series, whose artistic advisor from the very beginning was François Laurent, principal flute of the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse.
Mélanie recorded *Pastel*, a gentle musical journey revealing the many nuances of the harp. She now continues this adventure with her sister Élodie on viola and Joséphine Poncelin on flute.
Faithful to the French musical tradition, the trio presents a programme devoted to French music, with a detour to Japan.
Jacques Ibert composed *Deux Interludes* from *Le Burlador*, Mel Bonis evokes the forest, Arthur Honegger reveals his mastery of chamber music, and Toru Takemitsu, in *And then I knew ’twas wind*, enters into a musical dialogue with Claude Debussy.
