LES CAMMAZES
Created in 1990 by the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations, the aim of this day is to raise public awareness of the fact that tourist guides are cultural ambassadors for the regions they represent.
In France, the Fédération Nationale des Guides Interprètes Conférenciers, FNGIC, has over 1,200 qualified professional members.
As part of this event, the ACAMPO association, a member of the association des Guides et Conférenciers du Pays Cathare, GCPC, affiliated to the FNGIC, is offering a day of discovery on the Rigole de la Montagne:
1 discovery day: the Rigole de la Montagne Saturday 21 February 2026.
Travel will be by private car (car-pooling is recommended) and on foot (100-200 m) to the main sites of the Rigole de la Montagne (accessible to the general public), each driver being responsible for the people being transported.
NB: bring good sports shoes or walking shoes (avoid heels or bare feet) The lunch-slide show at the Salon de Vauban will be at around 1.30 pm, so have a good breakfast in the morning…
This event is free of charge as part of World GUIDE Day (meal to be paid for at the Salon de Vauban).
