TOULOUSE
Behind the doors of Le Castelet lies a heritage spanning a century and a half, and with it come memories of stories, testimonies and lives…
This weekend, it’s opening its doors to you!
Why not treat yourself to a ‘World War II’ or ‘Architecture and Prison Life’ mini-tour, offering a brief but enriching glimpse into the past? In just 30 minutes, you can explore the building through two distinct themes, at 11.30 am, 2.30 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm.
At the same time, an interactive game called ‘Question for a Prison’ is on offer three times a day, at 12 noon, 3 pm and 4.30 pm. Modelled on television quiz shows, this interactive game explores the world of prisons from a light-hearted angle, combining historical knowledge, social issues and civic reflection.
