TOULOUSE
The local authority produces around 300,000 annual and biennial plants: perennials, vegetables, chrysanthemums, fruit trees, shrubs and tree saplings. In addition, the municipal greenhouses maintain a collection of Toulouse horticultural violets and produce around 2,000 Toulouse seedlings every year.
This weekend, they’re opening their doors to you!
Discover the municipal greenhouses of Toulouse, centred around the large metal dome, a true centrepiece listed as a Historic Monument. Rare plants, remarkable trees and the gardeners’ expertise await you for a day of discovery exploring urban biodiversity, complete with demonstrations. Whether you’re curious, a keen enthusiast or simply out for a stroll, do come along and explore the little-known treasures of Toulouse’s municipal greenhouses.
