TOULOUSE
Once a factory producing cigarette paper and ‘coated paper’, the iconic Job building embodies an important part of industrial, working-class and social history.
To mark its first European Heritage Days, the Espace Job Cultural Centre is opening its doors to you!
You are invited to:
– Tour the building and meet former workers from the Job factory in Les Sept-Deniers, as well as the workers who have helped to preserve it.
– Discover the photographic prints by Jean Dieuzaide and Yutharie Gal-Ong, which illustrate the site’s industrial life.
– ‘JOB: Dernière cadence’ is the show that retraces the factory’s history. We recommend booking your tickets in advance to see it.
– For children: learn how to make your own paper from recycled materials.
– A concert by Jean-Peul Pujol featuring French chansons.
Find full details of the programme on the official European Heritage Days website.
