JOURNÉES EUROPÉENNES DU PATRIMOINE À LA CAPITAINERIE PORT SAINT-SAUVEUR

TOULOUSE

Description

Situated on the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, halfway between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean, Port Saint Sauveur stands on the site of Toulouse’s former merchant port, whose buildings have been fully restored. The Harbour Master’s Office, which now welcomes pleasure boaters, was formerly a goods storage shed. It offers a breathtaking view of the Canal du Midi.

This weekend, it’s opening its doors to you!

On the programme: an exhibition entitled ‘Scientific, Technical and Heritage Works’ and a range of activities, including ‘Phot’eau langage’, a frieze on the water, and ‘Mémoires d’eau: miroir de quartier’.
