TOULOUSE
The ChordAria vocal ensemble came into being in February 2019 and now has 45 enthusiastic and motivated choristers united around their young and talented choral conductor Julie Perrin.
With the support of the municipalities of Castelnau d’Estrétefonds and Orgueil, the association has quickly succeeded in expanding its repertoire to include classical, secular and sacred works: the Missa Brevis by Z. Fibich’s Missa Brevis, C. Saint-Saëns’s Christmas Oratorio, J. Brahms’s Liebeslieder, Mozart’s Grande Messe and, more recently, Karl Jenkins’s Te Deum and John Rutter’s Magnificat.
The Ensemble Vocal ChordAria performs works from this repertoire in public and also participates in local life.
For these spring concerts, the ChordAria Vocal Ensemble invites you to listen to G. Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in its original version for piano, harmonium, soloists and choir.
