Is it really so absurd to want to tame a soap bubble?
To trap it so as to keep it?
Is the Bubble Tamer capable of training them?
The bubble floats away and we hope it never falls back down. It comes to life and we hope it doesn’t disappear, so we can admire it. We escape.
In this whimsical world – with old films on a round screen, a storm of giant bubbles and a bubble puppet – there are so many burlesque touches which, for a suspended moment, drift along with a sense of lightness.
