BasarKus is a creature unlike any other. With his two heads and multiple legs, he also has plenty of arms. One day, BasarKus discovers that he has two hearts? He wonders. Is he one or many? Despite his fear of separation, BasarKus dreams of independence and freedom.
Games of interweaving and dissociation, joyful jumps, balancing lifts and gentle embraces follow one another with mischief and humor in this danced duet. Where does my body begin and end? Who is this other than me? How can I accept it? These are just some of the questions that raise the issue of identity, at a time when little ones are discovering themselves and others. A wordless story that helps overcome the fear of separation.
