It encompasses everything this multidisciplinary artist is capable of and which she develops in her shows. And then there is the rest, which asserts itself here in response to life’s trials, and in defiance of convention. Returning to the humble arts of the circus, Jur Domingo blends clowning, singing, theatre, object manipulation, puppetry and video to tell a story that could well be her own. *La femme des astres* paints a portrait of a woman who is going mad, but in a way that makes you want to go mad yourself… As the confidante of this story, which she makes her own, she conveys it with humour and a touch of quirkiness. Intimacy then gives way to boundless intensity.
