The joker’s been had!
A respectable civil servant returns home. He has just been unfaithful to his wife and is searching for every possible excuse to explain his lateness… That is when he realises that his wife herself has not yet returned! Caught in his own trap, he is overwhelmed by an uncontrollable fit of jealousy, dragging him into a dazzling and absurd obsessive frenzy.
Sacha Guitry’s legendary play, *La Jalousie*, is brought to life here through Michel Fau’s elegant direction, alongside flamboyant costumes and sets, paying tribute to this iconic figure of French theatre. The delightfully cruel script explores, with panache and in the purest tradition of boulevard theatre, the torments of self-esteem and the driving forces behind jealousy…
