Germain Chazes, aged fifty, is wary of words. He doesn’t know many of them.
Those closest to him even consider him a happy fool. He spends his time between the bistro and the public garden, where he likes to count the pigeons. It’s there, on a bench, that he meets Margueritte, a little old lady who knows a lot of words, and who opens the doors to the imaginary and to words that “grow” by reading to him…
