Behind the whirlwind of gags and misunderstandings in The Barber of Seville blows a wind of freedom – that of Rossini’s irresistible music, which made Beaumarchais’s comedy one of the most dazzling masterpieces of the operatic repertoire. Le Bus Figaro concentrates the essentials into one hour: the most beautiful moments of the work, sung in French, alternate with delicious dialogue.
Four singers, an accordion, sets and costumes made in our workshops: an entire pocket theatre put together with the excellence that characterises Capitole! Buoyed by its success, this touring show will set off again in May 2026 for a third tour of the metropolitan and regional area. Season after season, young and old alike have embraced it: proof that opera can find its admirers everywhere!
