Le Coin d’Art welcomes back Karine Verdier, a sculptor from the Minervois region. Her work expresses a deep sensitivity to the softness and warmth of wood. Her stylized forms, with their supple, flowing curves, are mainly inspired by nature: animals, the marine world and birds occupy a central place in her artistic universe.
Le Coin d’Art is pleased to present Bénédicte Coffinières. An art historian, medievalist and teacher, she defines herself as a self-taught artist. She works mainly in acrylics, in direct contact with the landscapes of the Corbières maritimes, the Mediterranean, lagoons and villages.
“I try to draw a personal and emotional perception from them, freely imprinting my imagination on reality.”
Through the use of bold colors and synthetic forms, she builds depth into her paintings and leads the landscape towards a sensitive abstraction.
