MONTASTRUC-LA-CONSEILLERE
Come and meet a host of guest authors, including a special appearance by the fair’s patron, Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet, a laureate of the Académie française.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to enjoy a rich and varied programme:
Attend captivating readings, notably featuring the novels of Augustine Meursault and Jean-François Galletout, or discover the poetic musings of Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet.
Round-table discussions hosted by Myriam Beauchamp will also invite you to explore the behind-the-scenes world of comic book creation and the power of women’s writing.
Creative and family-friendly workshops: Young and old alike can express their creativity through a cyanotype workshop to make a bookmark or an introduction to artistic printing on a Gelli Plate (activities for ages 6 and over).
Areas dedicated to young people: A freely accessible reading corner (comics, manga and picture books) and read-aloud sessions await the youngest visitors, run by the library and volunteers from Montas de Livres.
Between book signings, you can wander around at your own pace and enjoy a bite to eat on site, thanks to the food trucks and refreshment stand available to visitors. An unmissable cultural treat for the whole family!
