TOULOUSE
The Marathon des mots is the biggest literary event in Occitanie and the biggest read-aloud event in Europe. Each year, it offers around a hundred events in 30 towns and cities in Toulouse and the surrounding region, immersing you in the world of writers. Now in its 22nd year, the festival continues to win you over and help you discover the wealth of contemporary literary voices.
For this exceptional spring edition, the words speak for themselves, of the freedom to write, draw and think, of a thirsty Earth, of Spain so close, of philosophy as seen through the eyes of women and of everything that, between the lines, makes us live, dream and hope.
Around a hundred writers and artists from all over the world will come together to discuss, read and share their common passion. On the programme: readings, musical readings, meetings, concerts and screenings combining literature, the arts and the humanities.
