TOULOUSE
Pomme was keen to extend the experience of Saisons, its concept album released in 2023. The problem was that a simple concert couldn’t translate this project, in which each song evokes a month of the year and celebrates the cycle of nature. So the singer-songwriter built a tailor-made showcase with the help of Marie and Yoann Bourgeois, dancers and circus artists whose work includes the dizzying choreography of the video for Let somebody Go by Coldplay and Selena Gomez.
Together, they have created Petit cirque, a six-hander that combines ecological awareness, music, dance, circus and magic. The show follows a character through his life and imagines a world where humans and nature could live together. Each season highlights a natural element, a colour palette and a phenomenon. To achieve this, the artists have created a circular, rotating stage that looks like a slightly old-fashioned circus ring, offering a multiplicity of viewpoints and a play on centrifugal force and gravity.
Without the physical presence of Pomme, but with her voice and arrangements, this immersive creation will appeal to children… and those who have remained children.
