The discovery of a text on Mayou Iserentant, an artist-painter born Halkin (1903-1978), written by Belgian art critic René Golstein, inspired Valérie Boadella, the artist?s granddaughter, to write a stage script for International Women?s Rights Daythis is her first theatrical venture, but she has always been driven by her passion for famous womenthe show is accompanied by music and visual projections that punctuate the reading scenes, all orchestrated by stage manager Jean-Pierre Fournier, who brings us the sound and light atmosphere of a time when women, talent and art were the three keys to freedom.Rendezvous on Saturday March 7 at 6pm at the Centre Nelson Mandela for an original show to mark International Women’s Rights Day.
