With Adélaïde Ferrière, marimba player
Winner of the 2017 Classical Music Award
Nominated for the 2026 Classical Music Awards.

This recital, conceived as an exploration through transcription, will showcase the impressive rosewood keyboard of the marimba with its warm, deep tones, melodic and harmonic possibilities, and expressiveness. The arrangements proposed and produced by Adélaïde Ferrière allow us to rediscover some of the most famous works of classical music and reveal all the musicality and incredible possibilities of a percussion instrument that is still little known to the general public.

The programme will feature the music of Claude Debussy, highlighting the delicacy and finesse of the percussive playing, before continuing with Johann Sebastian Bach’s Chaconne, revisited by Ferruccio Busoni, which is massive and majestic. This will be followed by Niccolo Paganini’s famous Caprice No. 24, a formidable display of virtuosity, before closing the programme with a journey to America, the land of jazz, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
