I give short talks in which I confuse fiction and reality, so that the difference between the two no longer interests anyone. Once, someone asked me if a story I was telling was true, and I couldn?t answer because I didn?t know anymore. Once, I had to stop the conference, because a phone was ringing and nobody was switching it off – it was mine. Sometimes I say nothing for several minutes and everyone listens. I often draw pictures on a flip chart while I’m talking. Les Conférences de poche takes us into the world of Léon Lenclos, where the unreal becomes banal, and the everyday seems extraordinary. With long strides, one step into science, the other into poetry. While drawing on a flipchart, Léon tells us false stories and astounding truths about subjects we never knew were important.A closing drink for the cultural season will be offered at the end of the show!
