AGDE
Driven by a love of swing and unbridled humour, this sparkling quartet – very much in the Chick’n’Swing style – presents a jazzy repertoire with a Zazou flair.
Featuring Naïs Grangeon (double bass), Valérie Sajdik (vocals), Anne Cadlihac (piano, saxophone and melodica), Marion Gineste (cymbals, drums, percussion and washboard)
From 1940s standards to compositions by Kurt Weill, via Boris Vian, the Fairy Poppin’s explore a wide range of styles and emotions.
Whilst they pay homage to the Andrews Sisters, they’re not afraid to tackle the blues, boogie-woogie or even rock ’n’ roll.
And they sweep us up in their infectious enthusiasm, into the world of the swinging Valéries.
