CRUZY
They’ve been rocking the stage for more than a quarter of a century, tirelessly celebrating joy in every corner of France. Twenty-five years of friendship later, Les Fouteurs de Joie remain driven by the same desire to create, together. *Lumière!*, their new show, is currently in production as we write these lines. We’ll have the pleasure of hosting one of its first performances!
Les Fouteurs de Joie is, as always, all about spectacular song. Blending poetry, clowning, and sincere reflections on the world around us, these five multi-instrumentalists—inspired tightrope walkers—have the power to enchant the world.
Even if they can’t save it, they bathe it in poetry, beautiful songs, absurd escapades, and bucolic journeys to soothe our weariness and anxieties.
With an ever-expanding array of instruments, each song carries a special glow and becomes a mini-show in its own right. So they dance, they jostle, they slip and slide, they transform. Voices intertwine, the imagination runs wild, joy mingles with it all and becomes… Light!
