in partnership with INRAP, DRASSM, Paul Valéry University of Montpellier, CAHM and numerous archaeologists and associations
> To mark the exhibition ‘Greek Agde: Archaeological Discoveries from the Rhône to the Pyrenees’, this year’s European Archaeology Days will host the Archaeology Village, in partnership with INRAP.
Come and meet the specialists – from institutions, universities and associations – who will present their activities and the latest news in the field of national and local archaeology.

Our budding archaeologists at the roots of history.
Role reversal! Pupils from a Year 3–4 class at Jules Verne School take charge of the Museum. Follow these apprentice guides through “Greek Agde” and discover how objects, texts and excavations tell us about ancient history.

3rd edition of the Ancient Local Produce Market
in partnership with the Agde Museums and Heritage Department and the associations Cohortes Urbanae, Philocalie and Antikarme
Come along as a Gaul, a Greek or a Roman from antiquity, stroll through the market and meet passionate traders ready to share the history of their products.
Take your pick: vegetables, fruit, bread, cheese, honey, olive oil, oysters, perfumes and jewellery, leather… Ancient-style fast food available on site.
Finally, archaeological societies will be offering historical re-enactments of daily life and military life in Ancient Greece: workshops on civilian life, Greek sports and combat (armed running, pankration, boxing), and demonstrations of Greek hoplites, all accompanied by Greek dance and music.
