LES SIESTES & LES VIDÉOPHAGES FÊTENT LEURS 25 ANS À LA GRAVE

TOULOUSE

Description

Creators of unusual visual displays, the Vidéophages illuminate the La Grave chapel with artistic projections from 7pm to midnight, both inside and on the façades. Goldfish call out to passers-by on the outside walls, while mermaids swim under the dome. For the occasion, a number of emblematic audiovisual installations are being installed in the chapel: L’Aparté, an immersive and poetic cinematographic device recognisable by its bathtub and window, the participatory mirror installation Zébrez-vous, La petite cage and its flying elephant, and Christophe Jacquemart’s Les lanternes animées, which come to life thanks to visual loops made up of fragments of lives filmed in Super 8. All playful devices that question the projection format and the place of the spectator.

At 8pm, in the heart of the dome, Les Siestes presents a performance-concert with Amelia Tabeï: a sonic excursion guided by the breath of alto saxophonist Yohan Dumas.

From 9.30pm to midnight, headphones will be turned on to two screenings of short films, featuring a selection of great encounters and Videophages classics.
