Now in its 18th year, the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) Christmas Market organised by Unis Solidaires is back on the Allées Jules Guesde, opposite the Grand Rond, between the Jardin Royal and the Quai des Savoirs.
To delight the eyes and taste buds of young and old alike, a host of craft businesses, both voluntary and cooperative, will be offering original gifts selected for their quality and ethical credentials!
Along the stalls, you’ll find local products that respect producers and the environment, and innovative, quality crafts made in France, but also supporting fair trade in Asia, South America and Africa (craftsmen, jewellers, potters, cutlers, basket-makers, winemakers, syrups, herbalists, soap-makers, textiles, floral art, paintings, etc.).
You’ll also be able to eat and warm up in a warm and friendly winter guinguette. Beer, natural wines, soft drinks and of course… Traditional mulled wine! For your meals, you’ll find a variety of tasty and comforting local dishes.
And of course there’ll be plenty of festive events!
