Looking for a gift? Take a stroll down the aisles of the Christmas market to discover jewellery, clothes, accessories and objets d’art and decorations by craftsmen and designers.
Throughout the week of the Christmas market, the town comes alive with brass bands, fairy-tale parades and encounters with Father Christmas. From Wednesday onwards, the magic begins with the Christmas Locomotive, donkey rides, a magic show, the illumination of the town and a photo studio open every evening. Thursday features the La Belle Étoile brass band, a shopkeepers’ window display and music in the church. Friday continues with musical comedy by Les lutins crétins, light parades by Cirque Peps and Le Conte du Hérisson, and an extended photo studio. Saturday is the richest day, with concerts, choirs, ice sculpture, numerous Christmas reindeer rides, donkey rides and a magical show before the big night parades. Finally, Sunday brings together vocal ensembles, choirs, family shows, a wandering reindeer, the Fanfarfadets brass band, Gospel music and enchanted parades, all accompanied by Father Christmas and a photo studio to capture the moment. It’s a real immersion in the warm and festive atmosphere of Christmas.
