The Théâtre de Poche’s Review: AN ODE TO THE IMAGINATION
The kamishibai format—this form of picture theater from Japan—becomes a powerful narrative tool here, captivating children without ever rushing them. Cécile Combredet’s performance exudes a natural authenticity and gentleness that transport audiences—young and old alike—into stories that resonate long after the show ends.
Two tender and funny stories illustrated with original drawings and accompanied on the ukulele by Oscar the Skeleton and Gina the Giraffe.
