Telling the story of a knight?s quest to break out of the armor that imprisons him, Gabriel Tur sketches out a vision of virility as a shell, a social injunction handed down to boys from generation to generation.
On stage, the musician embodies a modern knight encased in 40 kilos of armor, a symbol of the patriarchal injunctions that shape men from childhood. Somewhere between a concert and a performance, Monade blends texts, songs and unexpected moments in a psychedelic pop form where music takes the place of narrative thread. From medieval polyphonies to electro loops, each track cracks the armor and frees the man hidden behind the myth.
Inspired by chivalric tales and nourished by contemporary poetry, this concert is like a sensitive voyage of initiation: an invitation to laugh and imagine other tales.
