In almost 30 years, Mourad Merzouki has helped hip-hop dance evolve and take its place in the contemporary landscape.
“Mozaïk” revisits the highlights of his artistic repertoire. From boxing to circus, classical music to aerial dance, from one creation to the next, the spectator is taken on a journey into a new universe, always singular, poetic and visual.
Each creation is the fruit of unexpected artistic encounters. Each, in its own way, shifts lines, bypasses clichés and transcends aesthetic boundaries.
Mourad Merzouki appears as a creative alchemist in the vast artistic melting pot that is his repertoire.
