TOULOUSE
Braving the snow and the cold, Asterion the Minotaur travels the Giant’s Trail by the light of his flaming torch, taking you on a beautiful journey on his back. During his appearances in the Hall, he meets the graceful gaze of Long Ma, the dragon-twin, who is still with us for a few days (until 4 January!). She wakes up several times a day to the first notes of an inspiring musical aubade. Stop by the Halle de La Machine to say hello and admire her one last time before she leaves for China!
For those with a sweet tooth, come and enjoy the amazing experience of the Déjeuner des Petites Mécaniques. This extraordinary meal and show is dressed up to the nines: refined flavours and Christmas surprises await you. The dishes are served up with imagination by ingenious machines operated with dexterity by the Véritables Machinistes.
In the afternoons, take to the trail of unbridled imagination with Winter and Varied Tales. The first frosts of winter lend themselves particularly well to stories read by the fireside, so come along every afternoon for two sessions of readings of Christmas tales, performed to music by the Véritables Machinistes.
It’s already snack time! Come and treat yourself at the Bouvette in the Minotaure Café. Hot chocolate, crêpes and waffles fill the air with their sweet scents and make your taste buds tingle. And don’t forget to stock up on the latest Christmas gifts at La Belle Boutique.
Finally, in front of the Halle, the Carré Sénart merry-go-round takes you on a fabulous ride among gigantic insects and comforting fluffy buffaloes. On Wednesday 24 December, come dressed in your most fabulous ugly Christmas jumper: it’ll be your ticket for a free ride!
