SOREZE
The Musée Dom Robert et de la tapisserie du XXe siècle is inaugurating its new exhibition for 3 years. Prairies animées is an ode to nature full of life. It’s not just a verdant field, a flowering tree or a peaceful pond, but the buzzing of a bee, the fluttering of a butterfly’s wings, the chirping of a bird, the leaping of a dog, a cat skittering along, the undulations of a scorpion fish. Put at the height of this vibrant world, the visitor finds himself looking for details in the tapestry, is surprised to hear, wanders, is enchanted. It’s the nature of the Tarn region by Dom Robert, the forests of the Creus by Élie Maingonnat, the bucolic serenity of Gérard Schlosser and the precious forest of Léo Chiachio and Daniel Gianonne. There’s also Carole Chebron’s surprising installation C’est pas coton, a veritable forest of metal, wool and cotton.
