NUIT DES MUSÉES AU CASTELET

TOULOUSE

Description

Come and discover the “Le ciel nous vengera” exhibition. For over fifteen years, artist Nicolas Daubanes (1983) has been developing a body of work centred on the world of prisons – drawings, installations, videos – nurtured by immersive residencies in prisons. His exhibition at Le Castelet is an extension of his residency at Villa Medici, combining historical references such as Piranesi’s imaginary prisons with contemporary creations.

This multi-disciplinary exhibition, combining contemporary art and Toulouse’s heritage, invites us to reflect on the invisibility of our prisons and the forms that confinement can take today.

Flash visits are available throughout the evening to discover the exhibition and this unique monument in Toulouse.

Enjoy the evening in Toulouse!
