GARIDECH
This fourth edition will showcase the Tarn-et-Garonne, the Lot, the Aveyron and the Tarn. You can try your luck at spotting the wolf in the caves of Rocamadour, though patent leather shoes might not be the best choice.
Rocamadour, then, but which way to get there and back? The route is already taking shape… The region’s most beautiful ‘rougier’ (that’s subjective – you can judge for yourselves) is on the programme… The current route is 666 km long (we’ll try to shorten it a little for the superstitious, though that might well bode well for a great trip…) with a total elevation gain of 8,500 m.
Two options are available:
– Ultra, limited to 55 participants, setting off on Saturday 3 April at around 9.30 pm, following the traditional lasagne party organised by our partner Com’ à la Maison and the pre-race briefing.
– Gravel Tourisme, limited to 15 participants, setting off on Sunday 4 April at around 9.00 am, following breakfast at our partner Clément’s and the pre-race briefing. In this option, the route is divided into five stages, taking in locations where you should be able to find more comfortable accommodation (hotels, guesthouses).
