OCTOBRE ROSE 2026

FRONTIGNAN

Description

Throughout the month of October, Frontignan la Peyrade invites you to take action against breast cancer, the most common cancer among women. Nonprofits, municipal departments, and local organizations are offering charity walks, fitness and wellness classes, workshops, discussion sessions, and prevention booths. The goal: to raise awareness, collect funds, and encourage you to get screened, because when detected early, breast cancer is curable in more than 9 out of 10 cases.

Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4: Kickoff
On Saturday, the Aresquiers Subaquatiques diving club welcomes you to “Des Bulles pour Elles”: a photo exhibition, coastal walk, light refreshments, and a charity raffle, with proceeds going to the ARC Foundation. Body Form is also offering a fitness circuit and a free yoga class. On Sunday, join the Zumba Rose session organized by the city’s Sports Activities Department, followed by a charity walk at Les Mouettes with GV Oxygène and the Sète Saint-Clair Lions Club. Refreshments and booths await you, with a donation of your choice to benefit a cancer charity.

October 5–9: Wellness and Solidarity
From October 5 to 7, the Re%EFki association invites you to its wellness workshops: aromatherapy, nutrition, coaching, hypnosis, magnetism, meditation, Re%EFki, and qigong with sticks. On Friday, October 9, the Jean-Piaget residential care facility is organizing a solidarity walk and will be selling ribbons made by its residents, with proceeds going to the League Against Cancer.

Saturday, October 10: “Women of the World”
YogaMoon invites you to a day of solidarity with the Montpellier Breast Institute (MIS): wellness workshops, yoga, Zumba, Afrovibe, heels, sound relaxation, a raffle, and messages of support.

October 13–20: Connect and Take Care of Yourself
On Tuesday, October 13, Scopie / La Hune and Femmes en Languedoc-Roussillon invite you to a discussion on women’s cancers and screening, featuring a volunteer doctor from the League Against Cancer. On Saturday, October 17, Carma Family invites you to “Mom, who’s taking care of you?” (prevention, nutrition, fatigue, mental load, local resources), and InTempo will lead an Afro dance class, with proceeds going to the GEEC in Balaruc. On Tuesday, the 20th, Vivre à la maison de retraite will have a booth selling goodies at the solidarity café.

Pink Weekends at the Studio (October 2–25)
Every weekend, YogaMoon and O’Studio offer workshops and classes to benefit the MIS: DanceFloor Ready (Fri., Oct. 2, 6:30 p.m.), Pilates Rose (Fri., Oct. 9, 6:30 p.m.), Heels (Sat., Oct. 10, 4:00 p.m.), Yoga Detox (Sun., Oct. 11, 11:00 a.m.), Inner Rose? Throughout the month
