The 22ᵉ edition of the Partances Festival invites you on a singular journey: that, of course, of distant geographies, but above all that of the metamorphoses that are redrawing our worlds.
Travellers, film-makers, adventurers or committed witnesses, they go out to meet other realities and bring you stories of worlds that are changing, testimonies that ask you questions.
On his return to Uruguay, will Mathieu be able to recapture the emotions of a trip that left such a deep impression on him eighteen years earlier? In the Mongolian taiga or Tajik Pamir, how can traditions be preserved when young people leave the villages? In Zanskar, won’t the construction of a major road change more than just the landscape?
In Niger, long-established humanitarian projects are being thwarted by sudden political changes. In Argentina or Chile, can we invent new ways of cohabiting with wildlife long perceived as hostile?
