TOULOUSE
In each of his plays, Volmir Cordeiro sets out to examine the social relationships that underpin our societies. Continuing his exploration of diversity and the visibility of marginalised people, *Parterre* is no exception and becomes, precisely, a space for expressing this plurality. On stage, five bodies, each bearing their own story, come together. Instead of costumes, they wear rubbish gathered here and there, bearing witness to our ways of life. The floor they share is the starting point for a carnival-like ceremony, a transgressive performance that serves as an act of resistance. A cry of joy and freedom to be shared between artists and audience members.
