PECHABOU
**Enfants du Mékong** is a French charity focused on education, which has been working for over 60 years in six countries in South-East Asia, supporting 24,000 sponsored children. The organisation’s mission is to sponsor a child living in poverty to enable them to attend school. What makes its approach unique is that it facilitates a direct sponsorship relationship between the donor and the sponsored child, even arranging for them to exchange letters regularly.
**You can support this cause by making a donation**. All funds raised will be passed on in full to the Enfants du Mékong charity. Your donation will help a child. Donations are tax-deductible up to 75 per cent. For example: a donation of 50 euros will cost you just 12.50 euros.
**The Art’Asia theatre troupe – one of a kind!** Three actresses from Aix-en-Provence – Danièle Blake, Christine Amedeo and Hélène Lamoureux – have put their passion for theatre to work for Enfants du Mékong. With over 90 performances under their belt, they tour the whole of France and organise private theatre evenings in people’s homes for a select audience of family and friends.
_**When Françoise Appears**_ by Éric Bu (1 hour 20 minutes)
This play explores a complicated childhood and abuse, but also kindness, upbringing and growing up. Three actresses on stage bring to life over twenty different characters with humour and light-heartedness, yet also with emotion and depth. A thought-provoking play that really makes you think.
After the performance, we’ll be joining the theatre company and the actresses for a drink.
We very much hope to see you there for this special evening.
