AGDE
Just imagine: two percussionists, one born into the heart of the Cuban tradition, the other trained in the most demanding schools of jazz and modern groove.Together, they will awaken ancestral memories within you that you didn’t even know you had.
Starring Ivan Hernandez and Thierry Fidaleo
You’ll set off from Africa (the deep roots of the djembe, Yoruba chants, hypnotic 6/8 rhythms) to immerse yourself in Cuban music (clave, mambo, guaguanco, salsa, songo).
Then head for Brazil (baion, bossa nova, samba), Spain and its flamenco (compas, bulería soleá, fandango, guajira, rumba), not forgetting drumming in genres such as jazz, blues, fusion, funk and rock.
More than just a concert, this is a ritual, a journey, a celebration of cultures coming together without ever losing their distinct identities.
