TOULOUSE
Inspired by the mother’s passion for song and cinema – and in particular by her fascination with the little donkey in Robert Bresson’s *Au hasard Balthazar* – the show is a stirring plea for the power of memories that connect us to the present, and for the vital role that vulnerable people and care should be (re)given in our fast-paced society.
Performed as a choral and musical piece by three performers – including a pianist – *Peut-Être Le Hasard* unfolds in a refined manner, not without humour and tenderness, as the text and emotion unfold.
*Peut-Être Le Hasard* was published as a novel in February 2026 by Les Corps Conducteurs. The text was awarded the 2026 *Nouvel Obs* Literary Prize.
