TOULOUSE
This concert brings together German Romantic Lieder based on creatures you might meet at night in a forest in Germanic mythology: elves, nymphs, witches celebrating the Sabbath, the Lorelei or the Alder King, but also Death himself, with composers such as Pauline Viardot, Fanny and Félix Mendelssohn, Clara and Robert Schumann, Brahms, Carl Loewe, Schubert or Liszt, as well as Benjamin Attahir, a composer from Toulouse in his thirties. The programme will be rounded off with solo piano pieces by Schumann and Grieg.
