TOULOUSE
This concert brings together overtures composed during the first half of the nineteenth century, with orchestral transcriptions, a common practice for this ensemble, or original works. G. Hecher, a Viennese pianist who also restores old pianos, including the 1860 Viennese Streicher played for this concert, and E. Jedlička-Gogova, a Czech-Macedonian pianist, form a unique duo devoted to nineteenth-century salon music.
