Here, the Ogres’ daughters take center stage, especially the youngest one, who doesn’t eat meat and spends her days reading books. Since she’s read so much, she recognizes the story… and understands what lies ahead for her. A series of farcical situations ensues, in which humor masks the family drama, heavy with foreboding.
