Once again this year, the town of Revel is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the festive season! On Saturday 20 December, young and old alike can enjoy free events open to all.
The spirit of Christmas will take over the streets and squares, with activities, workshops and shows for all the family to enjoy.
A festive morning in the Belfry
From 9am, the Belfry will be alive with the Christmas Lottery and the traditional market. The Moulin à Paroles will be providing a musical accompaniment to the morning’s festivities. It’s a great way to start the day.
A magical afternoon for all the family
From 2pm, Equi’nox will be on hand in the Roquefort garden for a magical afternoon. The team will be offering pony rides, a handling course and a mini-unicorn area specially designed for the little ones. A face-painting stand and the much-anticipated presence of Father Christmas will delight the children.
On the Place de la Mission, Sasha’s Tribe will be offering a real educational farm, while the Compagnie Jeux M’amuse will be inviting you to test your skill with giant wooden games, a crossbow shooting stand and a trolley rally… enough to guarantee a recreational break for everyone. Children aged 6 to 12 can also take part in 4 wooden Christmas decoration-making workshops. Each workshop is open to a maximum of 10 participants, giving everyone the chance to create their own decoration and take it home with them.
A grand finale: the Christmas Parade
At 3pm, the Cirkomcha Company and the Equi’nox association will bring the town centre to life with a colourful parade starting from the Jardin Roquefort. Music, stilt-walkers and juggling will set the pace for this parade, which is open to all.
