TOULOUSE
Respighi fell under the spell of the city of Rome. He began to describe these Fountains, a magnificent symphonic poem, as if the city were telling him its secrets.
In another style, Stéphane Degout, with his magnificent voice, takes us on a poetic journey. He sings pieces such as Chausson’s Poème de l’amour et de la mer and Ropartz’s Quatre Poèmes, where the music blends feelings and images, as if the imaginary were coming to life.
Finally, we return to the sunshine with Pins de Rome, a work that transports us to Italy, to the great Appian Way, in an explosion of music and emotion.
