TOULOUSE
A pretentious maverick and a keen observer of people and the passing of time, San-Nom paints, through his own eyes and life experiences, a portrait of a faltering era, paying tribute to those who embrace joyful defeats. His language is sometimes harsh, but a touch of humour saves what remains of life, with a barrage of drums, guitars and… accordion. Refusing to be pigeonholed into a musical genre, he prefers to break all the moulds to create his own style, with lyrics that oscillate between ‘optimism, pessimism and… neutrality ’. With this third album, *Sans succès*, a blend of personal confessions and life’s consequences, success is all but guaranteed.
*‘Sans (with an S!) succès’* really? Let’s prove wrong the one who doesn’t know how to lie.
