New Year?s Eve is the perfect opportunity to end the year in style. And what could be better than a concert accompanied by sweet treats in a warm setting? The theater?s foyer spectateur welcomes you on December 31 for a festive evening combining music and delicacies.
On the program: soprano Marie Sénié, accompanied on piano by Anne Pagès-Boisset, will introduce you to the most beautiful operetta arias, from Jacques Offenbach to Johann Strauss?s La Chauve-Souris, via Franz Lehar?s La Veuve Joyeuse.
The evening continues with a swinging jazz duo: pianist Benjamin Thiébault and singer Émilie Ayer perform works by Gershwin, Fats Waller and Clifford Brown, as well as Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter and John Coltrane.
All accompanied by a gourmet plate to celebrate the New Year with music and flavors!
