A 55-minute guided tour of the oyster beds and the riches of the Etang de Thau. After a brief geographical overview, the captain will first retrace the history of shellfish farming (oysters and mussels) and explain the methods currently used.the tour will continue under sail (weather permitting) to discover the panorama of this small inland sea and the Canal du Midi: Bouzigues, Balaruc les Bains, the Canal du Midi, Sète and Mont Saint Clair, the Lido, Cap d’Agde and Mont Saint Loup and finally Mèze and its seafrontPractical information:Duration of trip: 1 hourNumber of places: 20Starting point: Place Camille Vidal, MèzeThe Catamaran is open and covered, strollers are accepted and we have toilets on board.Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash.The captain reserves the right to cancel or postpone the departure due to weather conditions or for safety reasons.
