TOULOUSE
The rich collections of the Musée Saint-Raymond, founded in 1892, span a period from the Bronze Age to the Modern era. They come from the Toulouse region, Western Europe and the Mediterranean, but also include works from Egypt and even the Russian Caucasus. They come from old donations, purchases and discoveries from the most recent archaeological digs. The sheer scale of this archaeological collection means that only 3% of the objects are on permanent display.
